Description
Gentaizer 10: Gentaizer 10% Inj. is a potent antibiotic containing gentamicin, effective against diverse Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria. It treats various infections in animals, including urogenital, respiratory, and gastrointestinal infections
Gentaizer 10% Inj. harnesses gentamicin’s bactericidal power against a wide range of bacteria. It combats infections in horses, cattle, sheep, goats, pigs, dogs, and cats—treating respiratory, urinary, and gastrointestinal infections, among others.
Indications
Gentaizer 10% Inj. is indicated for treating infections caused by bacteria susceptible to gentamicin. It effectively addresses respiratory, gastrointestinal, and urogenital infections in various animals, ensuring their health and recovery.
Dosage
For intramuscular or intravenous injection:
• Horses, cattle, foals, calves, pigs, sheep, goats : 1 ml per 25 kg bodyweight during 3 – 5 days.
• Piglets, dogs, cats : 0.5 ml per 5 kg bodyweight during 3 – 5 days. These dosages preferably to be given twice on the first day, and afterwards once daily.
For intra-uterine application for horses during oestrus:
• Acute metritis : 5 ml daily, during 3 – 5 days. • Chronic metritis : 20 – 25 ml daily, during 3 – 5 days
